What's been happening in Scottish politics this week? published at 13:53 BST As ever, anything could crop up in FMQs but here's what our politics team has been reporting on this week: John Swinney defended comments he made about proposed changes to the UK state pension amid claims he may have misled parliament. He told MSPs that "we are now going to lose our pensions" after Andy Burnham announced potential reforms to the "triple lock". The co-leader of the Scottish Greens has described Zionism as racist, after the claim was adopted as Green Party policy south of the border.
Ross Greer said, while he did not agree with all parts of a motion passed at the England and Wales Green Party conference, he considered the creation of Israel to have been "an act of racism". The Joseph Rowntree Foundation revealed Scotland is on course to miss legally-binding targets to cut child poverty "by a wide margin" . It said one in five children was in poverty and "radical change" was needed to put the Scottish government's pledges back on track.
